Opening the batting for Quetta Gladiators were Usman Khan and Faf Du Plessis. The bowlers dominated the innings and restricted the batsman from scoring easy runs. Lahore kept losing wickets in intervals and no batsman could stay in the middle. They completed 133/10 in 20 overs. Therefore, for Quetta Gladiators Jake Weatherald was the pick of the batsmen scoring 43 runs. Opening the batting for Islamabad United were the experienced foreign openers Usman Khawaja and Colin Munro. The Quetta bowlers were hit in all areas of the park by the two experienced batsmen. Colin Munro crossed the half-century mark in no time. Therefore, Colin Munro was the best batsman for Islamabad United scoring 90*. Islamabad bad completed the match within 10 overs. United ended 137/0 in 10 overs winning by 10 wickets. The batsman bounced back after the first game losing to Lahore in the last ball.
