Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators Head to Head

The fourth game of the PSL after resumption is between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. Islamabad United is currently 4th in the points table. Quetta Gladiators 6th in the points table. The two teams have faced each other 12 times, with Quetta winning 7 times and Islamabad winning only 5 times.

Previous Encounter between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators –

The two teams last played each other on 2nd March 2021. Karachi National stadium was the venue for the encounter. Shadab Khan Captain of Islamabad United won the toss and elected to field first.

Opening the batting for Quetta Gladiators were Saim Ayub and Cameron Delport. The pair got out early leaving the team struggling early. Faf Du Plessis and Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed made up the shaky start given by the openers, therefore Sarfaraz crossed the half-century mark and was out LBW to Faheem Ashraf. Islamabad finished the game with 18 balls remaining. United finished 157/4 in 17 overs. Defeating Gladiators with six wickets in hand. Hence, the best batsman for Islamabad was Paul Stirling scoring 56 in 33 deliveries. Therefore, the pick of the bowler for Gladiators was Zahid Mahmood picking up 2 wickets.
