They are in the group with England, Australia, and West Indies in the T20 World Cup later this year. So they need to win against Ireland to get some momentum going forward.

  • Ireland’s Kevin O’Brien is returning tonight against South Africa to try and find his form before the World Cup. He has played a total of 5 matches this year and managed to score only 27 runs. In spite of his poor form recently Ireland is keen to play him tonight and is hoping that he would find his form. In their middle order, they have George Dockrell and Harry Tector who are heavy hitters. For the bowling side of things, they got  Getkate. Barry McCarthy, Josh Little, and Craig Young.
  • South Africa still hasn’t finalized a strategy for the T20 World Cup. They are looking forward to this T20 series to test out certain new tactics before finalizing anything. Temba Bavuma seems to be opening with Quentin De Kock with Aiden Marakam following them at number 3. David Miller is also expected to play in this match.
