RCB Vs KKR | Post match story:-
Post Match RCB Vs KKR. Undoubtedly. The Royal Challengers Bangalore played a great game today in the first doubleheader match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League 2021. They have outplayed Kolkata in all departments and won by 38 runs. The Bangalore team set a target of 205 runs for the Bengal beauties which was nearly impossible for them to chase.
The Bangalore boys showed great enthusiasm throughout the game. They played a brilliant bowling. Kyle Jamieson was expensive but picked up three wickets. Mohammed Siraj was economical and so were the spinners. Harshal Patel continued his great spirit in the game and got rid of Andre Russell in the last over. The team never let the game slip away from them, as they picked up wickets at regular intervals.
Earlier in the day, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has become the new holder of the orange cap in IPL 2021. He gave an amazing innings and a powerful finish by the one and only AB de Villiers powered Bangalore to a massive score of 204. No prizes for guessing the MAN OF THE MATCH, it’s one and only AB de Villiers.
The Knight Riders never looked comfortable while chasing such a huge total on a tricky wicket. The team was poor with bat. Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi got starts but none of them could convert them into a big score, and they lost wickets at regular intervals. In the end, Andre Russell played some big shots but couldn’t chase the massive target down.
Once again, the Royal Challengers swapped the tabs and made their names to reach greater heights. Kolkata would definitely look upon this and come back better next time. This summarizes the first double header of the season.
