MIvsDC post-match review | Brief Summary:-
MIvsDC post-match review. The Delhi Capitals met the Mumbai Indians and registered their third win in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League 2021. The Delhi Capitals stagnated a target of 139 runs for the Mumbai’s team which slightly seemed easy for the latter but the former made to most of it.
Delhi started off badly as they lost Shaw early. But then Smith and snitched to a very good partnership. Smith was looking good and was anchoring the innings but got out to Kieron Pollard. Shikhar Dhawan as usual was at his good and scored a valuable 45 runs but later fell just when he was looking to up the ante.
Spinners bowled really well from Mumbai. Jayant Yadav picked up Shaw and put the pressure at the beginning. Rahul Chahar continued his great form and got rid of the dangerous Shikhar Dhawan. Boult was great and gave away just 23 in his 4 overs. Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai skipper, says that they could have batted well in the middle overs. On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan said that they looked to keep wickets in hand.
Undoubtedly, Amit Mishra played a significant role and was declared as the MAN OF THE MATCH. He says he is happy with his performance. He also mentioned that he tried to execute his plans well and it paid off.
Defeating and triumphing, this brings us to an end of yet another game, where it’s been a marvelous victory for Delhi. Hope they will be able to manage the same pace in rest of the tournament.
