A change in the name and colours have not helped the Punjab Kings well off late. Punjab Kings have not been able to fulfil their potential in the Indian Premier League since the start. In the first season they did manage to reach the semifinal and in the 2014 edition they were the worthy finalists but couldn’t beat a resilient KKR side. Do they have the vigor to prevail or will they again slump out of IPL with empty hands. Let’s see:
King and Army collaboration is a MUST.
They do possess the universe Boss Chris Gayle and is led by a flamboyant KL Rahul. They have great individuals to ponder upon but they have failed miserably while playing as a unit. Kings will be looking to up their game in the second leg of the IPL 2021. They begin their second leg against a vulnerable Rajasthan Royals.
The Australian fast bowling duo of Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith have opted out of the second edition of IPL in the UAE. Kings have announced Nathan Ellis and Adil Rashid as replacements for the two. Kings need their foreign players to step up and fire big time.
The Kings left for the UAE on 29th August and successfully completed their six-day mandatory quarantine and now they’ll begin training for phase two.
