MS Dhoni, right handed bat, comes to the crease15.5
Holder to du Plessis, out Caught by S Kaul!! That’s a ridiculously immature shot from a man with the experience of FdP! With the required rate at a run-a-ball, he tries dragging a short ball from outside off, pace lost, with a pull, gets a massive top-edge and Kaul settles under it coming in from square leg! The settled batsmen depart, and is there a twist now? du Plessis c S Kaul b Holder 41(36) [4s-3 6s-2]
Holder to du Plessis, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Holder to Raina, out Lbw!! He’s not going to review this! This has held Mr. IPL back his whole career – the old one-two. The short ball to get his weight on the backfoot, followed up by the yorker. Gets this one right on the boots, does Holder, and Raina is a little late on the flick, the last ball perhaps still playing in his mind. Misses it, and he’s struck plumb in front. Suresh Raina, left handed bat, comes to the crease14.4
Rashid Khan to Moeen Ali, out Bowled him! The pressure-cooker has burst! Looked like the flipper squeezed from the first three fingers, Moeen Ali, suffering from the last-ball syndrome, succumbs at Stage 4, trying to pull this away, gets a thick under-edge onto the pads, and it dribbles onto the stumps, just about knocking the bails over and lightin’ em’ up. Moeen Ali b Rashid Khan 17(17) [4s-2]

Here’s some Mo-time!10.1
Holder to Ruturaj Gaikwad, out Caught by Williamson! That’s the first wicket at the half-way stage! Gaikwad charges down the wicket to cross-bat a length ball over mid-off, gives himself room to free the arms, nearly clears KW, but he leaps to hold onto the catch. That’s first blood for SRH, and they get rid of the in-form Gaikwad! This could have come a little earlier, but these tracks aren’t the easiest for newer batsmen. The game is still alive! Ruturaj Gaikwad c Williamson b Holder 45(38) [4s-4 6s-2]

Teams:
Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI): Jason Roy, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Kane Williamson(c), Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma, Abdul Samad, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma
Chennai Super Kings (Playing XI): Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni(w/c), Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Josh Hazlewood
Williamson: Looks like one of those surfaces, looks a little bit better than some of the the other games. We are batting first, we have to try and make use of it, assess the conditions as quickly as possible. Important for us to get off to a good start and build a decent total to defend. We need to adjust everywhere you go. For us, it’s trying to build on that last performance, there were a lot of good things. We are going in with the same side which is exciting. More opportunity for guys as well, they are really looking forward to it. We want to play good cricket, we want to continue to improve. Four games left to do that and that’s our opportunity as a franchise. We want to keep our focus in front of us which is just small adjustments against different oppositions. We want to keep growing throughout.
Dhoni: We’ll bowl first because of the smaller dimensions and looks like a fresh wicket. When you keep playing here, it tends to slow down a bit. The fresh wicket will play fair, might slow down a bit as the match progresses, but it may not be as slow as the other wickets. In a tournament like this, it becomes difficult to come back. This year, all the boys have been brilliant. Whatever time we got at the practice sessions, we have made the most use of it. Lot of players were playing international cricket and people who were not playing made sure that they turn up early and do a bit of practice. Taking one game at a time really helps. If you take care of the game, that takes care of where your position is in the points table. We are not thinking about that (top-two finish), we just want to make sure that we execute our plans brilliantly and we keep learning from each and every game. We have one change, Bravo comes back in place of Sam.
Chennai chose to field first
