David Miller smashed an unbeaten 68 off 38 balls to lead Gujarat Titans to an IPL final in their debut season. Miller smashed three sixes off the first three balls of the last over of the match to knock down the 17 runs they needed at that point.
He shared an unbeaten 106-run stand for the fourth wicket with captain Hardik Pandya that came in just 61 balls. Pandya himself ended the game unbeaten on 40 off 27 balls. Earlier, Jos Buttler’s 89 off 56 balls propelled Rajasthan Royals to 188/6 batting first. RR now face the winner of the Eliminator between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants in the second qualifier.
The Eliminator will be played at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday while the second qualifier will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 27.

“Happy with the score. Wicket was a bit sticky. It was helping bowlers, there was swing in the powerplay. It was two-paced, and bounce was not even. I was lucky to get a few runs in the powerplay. That kind of total in that kind of conditions was great. Having Riyan helps [as a bowling option], but the wicket was good to bat in the second innings. We have been playing good cricket. Couple of overs and extra runs here and there. Luck plays a huge role; toss plays a huge role. The controllable factor is to just to come back and express yourself”
