The two teams have shown what it takes to be the IPL Champions. The segment has to be a bigger one for Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings Memorable Moments. KKR set to achieve 154 to win the match, it was splendid bowling by the CSK boys making it a close call. J.Kallis made 50  and a couple of run outs in the match made things worse for KKR. In the last six overs KKR needed 54 to win. But the tumbled down order made things loosen and gave Chennai an upperhand. They lost just by the margin of two runs. 

2012, KKR won the Epic Finale by 5 WICKETS

A first touch to the Finale for KKR and third consecutive for the CSK franchise. The boys in yellow came into bat first and as the fans thought that the habit of playing finals and winning them will see CSK go past KKR easily. Until the first innings it looked that yes CSK are on the verge of winning a third consecutive IPL title after 2012 and 2011. But the story had a change when the top order fired some good 50 plus scores. Raina 73 helped Chennai reach 190/3. The tale’s limelight overturned when M.Bisla started hitting over the rope. His knock of 89 and 69 by J.Kallis helped KKR to win the first IPL title in 2012.The fans from both the ends had nail biting moments in the middle. Making it a KKR vs CSK Memorable Moments match.

2018, CSK chase down 202, Russ 88* in vain, beat KKR by 5 WICKETS

A match between both sides and their fans that everyone remembers. It was the year when CSK was back from ban and the fans were on another level. The excitement was too high and the scoreline , the raining sixes, the Russ innings , the chase and what not. This match between the two is must watch and looks to be a close encounter until the six off the second last ball. The Knight Riders opened the innings with Lynn and Sunil. The openers had a great time in the middle in the powerplay until the 5th over when both got out. Slowly and gradually middle order added some runs when Russell came in and hammered 11 sixes all over the park. The CSK was down and over after his 88*.

The chase was big 203, who would step up. Shane Watson , A.Rayudu gave the answer with sixes initially. Raina and MSD fumbled. Sam Billings came in with a mindset which the fans expected. He threw his bat at every ball and hit 56 off 23. Jadeja and Bravo at last had a short spell on the crease but a memorable one. Hitting just one sixes each and sealing the empathic win and mark the return of the yellow army. Thus, this match between KKR vs CSK became a memorable moment. 

2021, CSK pulls over KKR in Final by 27 RUNS 

Was it the revenge of the 2012 Finale or was it to be the side to close the gap with MI in the title race?

On 15th October, 2021 in U.A.E, CSK once again reached the IPL final. Both teams with 5  IPL titles locked horns. CSK was given a chance to bat but what a champion side can do, put up a huge total to chase. Yes, they did and the start was a flying one both the openers being the top scorers of IPL in the end with a gap of just 1 run. FAF and Ruturaj Gaikwad started well with faf making 86 and Robin 31 off 15 and M.Ali 37 off 20. Each of these three players hit 3 sixes and let chennai go past 190 i.e 192?3 in 20 overs. 

A start was required unlike the 2012 Final for the KKR army.Shubham gill slow fifty and 50 off 32 for V.Iyer wasn’t enough the middle and the lower middle order tumbled. Some slow deliveries and much more in that win in the finale for CSK.
