After a thrilling first week of IPL 2022, almost all the teams have played two matches each and have shown some blistering performances. We got to see a lot of nerve-wracking and big comeback games. However, we also saw some heartbreaks for fans after their favourite teams have not been able to open their win account. Here is the match preview of the encounter Match-11: Chennai Super Kings vs Punjab Kings (CSK vs PBKS).
LAST MATCH SUMMARY: IPL Match score updates :
Chennai Super Kings will play their third match of the season and will look to register their first win of the season. CSK lost their last match against Lucknow Super Giants, where they performed exceptionally well in the batting department but failed to defend the score against a comparatively weakened batting line-up of Lucknow. Chennai was forced to bat first as Lucknow won the toss and elected to bat first. In reply, Robin Uthappa gave a strong start to the team and smacked a 50 in no time. Moeen Ali and Shivam Dube showed fireworks, and both the batsmen made the bowlers cry. The batsmen took the team to a score of 210 runs. Regardless of the big score, Chennai did not expect that their bowlers would not be able to defend the score. Lucknow chased the total down in a dominating way.
On the other hand, the Punjab Kings are coming off a horrendous loss against the Kolkata Knight Riders. PBKS showed a terrible batting performance against KKR’s powerful bowling line-up. The Punjab batsmen surrendered themselves in front of Umesh Yadav, and the whole team was bundled out for 137 runs. It was an easy target for Kolkata Knight Riders to chase, but KKR’s top order could not do their job. They were 51-4 and all the fans were expecting them to lose. However, they did not know that a storm from Andre Russell would blow away all the PBKS bowlers and sail their team to the winning line. Russell scored a swashbuckling 70 runs in just 33 balls and finished the game with 5 overs to spare.

Brabourne Stadium‘s pitch is one of the most batting favoured pitches in Maharashtra and Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings showed how the pitch should be used for the batting.
