India vs Sri Lanka white ball series

Indian cricket team would be locking horns with Sri Lanka in July to play a limited-overs series. The Indian team would be sending its second tams as the first team is already in the UK to play the World Test Championship after which they play England in a Test series. India vs Sri Lanka series last took place in 2020, India winning the series 2-0.

BCCI announced that Rahul Dravid would be the head coach of the team as Ravi Shastri is currently with the team in the UK. Rahul Dravid is currently the National Cricket Academy chief. He has coached the under 19 and India A in the past before taking up the current post.

India was originally only going to play a 3 match T20 series. But with the request from the Sri Lankan Cricket Board, BCCI accepted the proposal to play 3 ODI matches also. It will help SLC generate more revenue from television rights. And overcome losses made during the Pandemic period.

THE SCHEDULE of India vs Sri Lanka-

ODI Series

1st ODI – 13th July (1:30 pm).

2nd ODI – 16th July (1:30 pm).

3rd ODI – 18th July (1:30 pm).

T20 Series

1st T20i – 21st July (7:00 pm).

2nd T20i – 23rd July (7:00 pm).

3rd T20i – 25th July (7:00 pm).

Broadcasters for the India vs Sri Lanka series-

 Sony Sports network has been selected as the official broadcasters for the matches.
