On 23rd October, India will face Pakistan in its first official appearance in T20 World Cup 2022. Both teams have recently announced their squads.
None of the teams have made any major or unprecedented decisions in the squad, While India has made the obvious inclusion of Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel who were ruled out of the Asia Cup owing to injuries in places of Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi. Pakistan has given their top pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi a place along with his partner in seam Mohammed Wasim Jr.
While India won the first match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup, the latter came out on top in the 2nd fixture among the two however none of the teams were able to lift the trophy as underdogs Sri Lanka swept every one of their feet with their incredible performance.
