The fourth and final test of the India vs England series is set to go underway tomorrow at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahemdabad. A lot has been talked about the pitch in Ahemdabad. There is a lot on offer for the spinners. All these debates are pointless. Why call it a home advantage if the pitches are being criticized? In fact, Joe Root, who is a fast bowler, picked up a five-for. So there is no reason to complain.
In the fourth match, the conditions of the pitch are expected to remain the same. The team winning the toss would want to bat first at the top when the ball is not doing much.
India will only make one change, which is a forced change as Jasprit Bumrah is going to miss the match, Mohammad Siraj, who is in good form, would probably replace him.
England will have to make a couple of changes. Resting two of their three main seamers and bringing in a lower middle-order batsman and Dom Bess as their second spinner. Ben Stokes can be their second seamer.
One thing that both teams need to work on is their approach towards spin. The last match was a very low-scoring match. The players need to adapt to this condition and hopefully, the game would last longer in the next game.
