Rishabh Pant tests Covid positive

The news of Rishabh Pant testing positive for the Coronavirus broke out this morning. The Indian team is in England and is waiting for the much-awaited test series vs England. The Indian team had travelled to England early as they had to play the WTC final.

The gap between the test series and the WTC final was of about 40 days. The test team was given a 20-day holiday to prevent the bio bubble fatigue. The team is set to assemble tomorrow at Durham for their warmup games ahead of the test series.

Rishabh Pant had posted a photo while he had gone to watch a match of the Euro 2020, in a jam-packed Wembley stadium. He was also seen meeting his fans at the venue.

It was an all-important series and such mistakes could cost the Indian team during the series. Rishabh Pant is a key player for the team in England and his availability is a must.
