PSL 2021
PSL 2021 has now concluded, and Multan Sultans lifted their first-ever title. This year was incredible for them, and so was for some of the bowlers who participated in the tournament. The bowlers were on top of their games and contributed more than the batsmen did. Here are the top-5 wicket-takers of this season.

#5 Imran Tahir
He just made it to the cut of the top 5 wicket-takers in the season’s final match beating Hasan Ali. Both had a total of 13 in the end, but Imran Tahir had a slightly better Strike Rate. He was wicketless in the first three overs of his spell in the finals but got 3 very crucial wickets in his last over. At this age, he is continuing to not just play, but take wickets as well.
#4 James Faulkner
James Faulkner did not play a single game before the resumption, but after that, he came along for Lahore Qalandars and picked up crucial wickets at important stages of the game. He picked up 13 wickets in just 6 games. If he had played more games, he surely would have been the highest wicket-taker of the season.
#3 Shaheen Shah Afridi
Afridi, with his left-arm pace, has become one the most recognized player in very little time. He is one of the most important bowlers for Lahore Qalandars, and he took the responsibility on himself to take wickets. He was the highest wicket-taker for them, with 16 this season.
#2 Wahab Riaz
Riaz is one of the most experienced campaigners of Pakistan. He is a master of maintaining his lines and lengths, which is one of the most difficult things to do as a fast bowler. This season he had his ups and downs, but he still managed to become the second-highest wicket-taker, with 18 this season. Had he been a little bit more economical, he would have been able to create a lot more pressure on the opposition.
#1 Shahnawaz Dhani
This young pacer from Multan Sultans was silent throughout the tournament, and towards the end of the group stage, he picked wickets much quicker and became the highest wicket-taker. After that, he never looked back. Along with taking wickets, he was fairly economical too. He picked up a total of 20 wickets, out of which he had two four-fers. He surely contributed immensely to his team lifting the trophy.
